ah what a nightmare it was. first with the previous speaker lambasting my 'kind' of experiments as 'bad science', in not so many words, and then of course the strangely hallucinogenic experience of another talk (in a parallel session) interfering with the audio system of my talk. i will remember this for a long time.
it would be good to get back to some work once i am back in cambridge.
